 Our Staff

Faith Community Church is blessed to have a staff that is very wonderful, very dedicated, incredibly joyful, and extremely eager for the Word of God.
Here they are:

Jon Kile, Pastor:
I was born in Portland, Oregon, and I grew up in Tigard, Oregon. I came to know the love and grace of Christ at an early age, and I knew from early on that God was calling me into some sort of full-time ministry. I went to Bible College at Pacific Christian College in Fullerton, California, where I met my wife Tiffany. After getting married and graduating from Bible College, we moved to Johnson City, Tennessee to go to seminary at Emmanuel School of Religion where I received my M. Div. degree. While in seminary I preached part-time at a small country church, and then after graduation I began full-time ministry which I have been doing since 1995. I graduated from The Master's Seminary with a Doctorate of Ministry degree in May 2009. I have three wonderful daughters: Katie, Emily, and Allison. My two passions are preaching God’s wonderful Word and evangelism. I love the Lord with my whole heart, and I look forward to serving Him at Faith Community Church for many years to come.

David Truesdell, Youth Pastor:
What could be better? As youth pastor, I am able to serve the Lord and work with an amazing group of teens. Ever since I can remember, I have been working with youth. After graduating from college, I spent thirteen years teaching in the public school system. In 2005, while already attending FCC, I felt God call me to make a change and take my love for Him and passion for youth to be part of the staff at Faith Community as the youth pastor. What a blessing it is to be able to teach and mentor, but to do it for the purpose of spreading the Gospel and the edifying of the saints.

Rachel Truesdell, Children's Coordinator:
Most people are surprised when they hear I grew up in the small, mountain town known as Bangor, California. While living in that little town, the Lord blessed me with a great-uncle who traveled a great distance to see that I understood that Jesus loved me and that I could make Him my savior. Throughout my life, I always loved taking care of other people, especially the very young and old. My love for working with children determined my focus in college. Graduating from Sacramento State University and getting credentials to teach was important for my future, but the best part of college was meeting my husband, David. We both began our teaching careers in Benicia, California. We have been a team in every walk of life. Later, I would recognize that my experience in the classroom would be useful in teaching Sunday school and home schooling my own wonderful children, Joshua and Grace. It has been a privilege and blessing to work with all of the children at FCC since our church began. They become like family as I spend time with them in the children's ministry, and then in the youth ministries, and finally in the college/career group, supporting my husband as their youth Pastor. Our family loves serving and being a part of the FCC family.

Joanne MacLean, Office Manager:
I was born and raised in California; I met my husband Rich at a Christian camp in the Santa Cruz mountains and we married in 1986. I was the Office Registrar at the camp until we started our family. We have 3 children, Joelle, Andrea and Carl. We moved to Vacaville in 1998. I worked at an elementary school here in Vacaville as the Health Technician from 2001-2004. I came to work for FCC in January 2005. My family and I have been blessed to be a part of FCC.

Kathy Stogner, Bookkeeper:
I was born in Washington DC and lived in the US, Cuba and Mexico before settling in California at age 13. A year after high school, I married Ed, my husband of 40 years. We moved to Vacaville in 1971, and were blessed with two wonderful children, Amanda and Aaron. We began attending FCC when it started in 2002. Ed died in 2003. I worked as a church treasurer for many years and have served in childen's, women's and benevolence ministries. I believe we must bloom where God plants us. The Lord has given me a heart for this work and I feel blessed to serve Him at FCC.

Monique Potter, Office Assistant:
I have always lived in California; I grew up in the Bay Area with my parents and two older siblings.  I married my 'high school sweetheart' John in 1988. John and I moved to Vacaville shortly after having our first child. We have two precious children, Trevor and Johnah. Our family started attending Faith Community Church in the spring of 2003. I started working at the church office part-time in February 2006. We are grateful for this church and have been exceedingly blessed to be a part of this body.
